"Harry Warner" (PA)
Striving to connect the traditions of film with the medium’s continuing evolution, the festival seeks to represent the myriad of artistic visions and methods of production employed by time-based artists and filmmakers.  All genres will be considered for exhibition.

"Black Maria" (travelling the world)
The festival's mission is to exhibit and reward passionate new independent film + video, to reach audiences in a variety of settings nationwide and to celebrate deiverse media artists who explore the expressive potential of film.

"Smog Dance" (Pamona CA)
Accepting: experimental, animated, comedy and sci fi/fantasy.

"Cinematexas” (Austin)
-Renowned short film fest. $30 entry, but free festival pass regardless of acceptance of work. Very Experimental Film-friendly.

"Portland Documentary Experiemntal- PDX" (Portland, OR)
One of the top experimental film festivals.

"Ann Arbor Film Festival" (Ann Arbor, Michigan)
The Ann Arbor Film Festival is a festival of independent and experimental film and video. Established in 1963, this internationally-renowned festival is the oldest of its kind in North America. Each year the festival attracts entries from moving image artists worldwide and screens more than 100 films before audiences during six days in March.

"Chicago Underground Film Festival" (Chicago, IL)
Founded in 1993, The Chicago Underground Film Festival (CUFF) is a year-round organization dedicated to the work of film and video makers with defiantly independent visions. Unlike many other "independent" film events our goal is not to imitate old guard, market-driven events such as Sundance but Instead to focus on the artistc, aesthetic and fun side of independent filmmaking. CUFF promotes works that dissent radically in form, content and technique from both the tired conventions of Hollywood and the increasingly stagnant IndieWood mainstream.

"International Funtup Film & Art Festival" (May 7, WI)
At a time when creative worlds are overflowing in idea and format, the Funtup Film and Arts Festival provides a solution of accessibility to artists and audiences. This multimedia event presents itself in an unconventional yet inviting way to provide a venue for all to partake in and enjoy. Artists looking to display film, visual arts, or music find an affordable event with international response in the festival. Since the array and medium of work varies so much, the festival also draws, with intent, a large and diverse audience. With the combination of accessibility to both audience and artist, the festival breaks walls of elitism in the art world while still delivering its credibility.

"Montréal International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA)" (Québec CA)
The FIFA endeavors to heighten the public's understanding and appreciation of art. The festival elso seeks to highlight the work of the artists, as well as the contribution of professionsal in the realm of cinema and television.
