The Method Fest is looking for story-driven films (narrative), featuring strong acting performances. The Method Fest Independent Film Festival prides itself in being the only film festival in the world that acknowledges the actor's contribution to independent films and has screened new works of new artists, as well as career-defining performances of name actors.

Asian Film Festival of Dallas (May 28-29, Dallas TX)

To be eligible, short or feature productions must be made by Asian-Americans or Asian-International filmmakers, or with subject matter concerning Asian issues from any year, country, state, age, category, and serving any theme. The categories this year include narrative, documentary, experimental, and animation. All films submitted should be under 70 minutes in length.
Rooftop Films (Summer, Brooklyn NY)

The 2005 Summer Series consists of 16 shows, one every Friday night all summer long from June 10th through September 9th plus a special show on Monday, the 4th of July. All shows take place outdoors in New York Cityeither in parks, along piers, on boats traveling around Manhattan, in historical locations, or, best of all, on rooftops overlooking the city. People see more short films at Rooftop than at the next three largest short film festivals in New York combined, so if you are interested in having your film shown to large crowds in some of the most spectacular urban open air venues for cinema in the world, submit your films now.

The Board of Directors chooses and invites the films which will be presented in Competition or Out of Competition. Only the films that meet the following conditions may be chosen for invitation in the Official Selection:
1. Films that have been produced during the twelve months preceding the Festival;
2. Films whose exhibition has been limited only to their country of origin;
3. Films that have not been presented in any other international motion picture event;
4. Films that have not been exhibited on Internet;
5. Films that respect the aims of the Festival as defined in Article 1;
6. Short films that do not exceed 15 minutes in length.
