Cinemakids Workshops

Cinemakids includes free training in media production for young people 6-12 years old. In these workshops, students watch films made by other youth, learn basic techniques in filmmaking from adult media arts educators, and work collaboratively in small groups on a short movie.

Registration for the workshops will begin on August 20, 2007.

Our capacity is 50 students, and spaces are filled on a first-come/first-served basis.

- Child's age
- Parent's or guardian's full name
- Parent's home or cell phone number

This year's workshops will immediately follow our screening programs on Saturday, September 15, and Sunday, September 16. The workshops will be held at UT-Austin in CMB Studio 4E from 12 pm - 4 pm.

Students will receive a free, light lunch at the beginning of each workshop. Parking for students' families will be made available in UT's Lot F27 (at the northwest corner of the Dean Keeton and Whitis intersection, and just north of the CMA building) on a first-come/first-served basis.
