How to power to the dimmers in CMB Studio 4A
Lighting grid in 4A instructions:
To get all the dimmers to work you need to have one light on the grid connected and on. This applies an electrical load to the dimmer circuit and that enables the rest of the breakers to work.
For example: Plug a studio light into O4 and plug it into dimmer #7. Turn on that circuit. Light will come on. Now anything else, such as Twistlock extensions and Twistlock to Edison breakout boxes that are plugged into dimmer #7 will receive power. Wall 50 AMP twislock outlet work this way too. Without a studio light plugged into that dimmer then nothing on that dimmer will receive power.
If this seems unclear contact Susanne or Jeremy in CMB 4.113 or call 512232-6486 or 512-517-1387 and we will explain further.
