Alison Rooper, Executive Producer at In Focus Productions in London, will be the Artist in Residence at the UT Documentary Center from March 11 to March 23. Rooper is an award winning director and producer working across factual programming of all genres. At BBC's current affairs department as producer/director, she has edited and series produced some of the corporation's flagship programs in science, documentary and current affairs. She recently directed and produced "Doping for Gold" for Brook Lapping, about the long-term effects on the East German women athletes who were unknowingly doped during the 1970s and 1980s.
As part of her Doc Center residency, Rooper will visit various RTF classes.
