REEL WOMEN and UT RTF will be holding a special panel of local female industry professionals that will discuss the state of women and girls in the film industry. Moviemaking is a male dominated field but it doesn't have to be. If you've ever been curious about REEL WOMEN or other women's groups within the film community, this is a perfect time to come and hear it from ladies who have been there.

REEL WOMEN UT MEETING

THURSDAY DECEMBER 2nd from 7-9pm in CMB STUDIO 4D - Any and all UT students welcome to attend this meeting. We'll discuss starting up a Reel Women Chapter on the UT Campus in the spring of 2011. What are the needs of the female RTF students? How can we continue to support female students during their time at UT? How can we bridge the gap between community professionals and UT students? What sort of mentorship and internship programs can we set up?

PURPOSE: General Meeting about the Reel Women UT Chapter.
