Derek Lackaff in a Lecturer in Radio-Television-Film, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow working with the UT Austin | Portugal project in Digital Media. His research focuses on social media, social network analysis and methodologies, and the social psychology of communication technology use. His research has been published in Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication and elsewhere. He is interested in cross-disciplinary approaches to new media research, and looks forward to helping Portugal project participants develop collaborative research agendas.
