Dan Knightâs career has been divided between two areas, a) writing, producing and directing and b) production and operations management, both in the field of television and video production.
In the field of entertainment, Knight produced and directed local, regional and nationally syndicated music and variety programs, parades, telethons, and special events. He created promotion formats for television and radio distribution, and won the first place INTV award for a station campaign. Knight has supervised operations and production including two station sign-ons and has produced over 130 Major League Baseball games, over 100 NASL Professional Soccer matches, and produced and directed NCAA basketball and football. In the field of advertising, Knight has worked as a commercial writer, producer, director, and lighting designer.
