Ed Radtke has written, produced and directed three independent features, including the award-winning films BOTTOM LAND and more recently THE DREAM CATCHER, which garnered 11 awards at international festivals and was released worldwide. Ed Radtke has also served as a writer, producer, assistant director and editor on various projects including: features, documentaries, ITVS funded dramas, commercials and music videos. He's taught filmmaking at the university level and has also extensively taught at-risk youth, developmentally challenged adults, Native Americans, Iraq War Veterans, victims of domestic violence, and prisoners. He's guest lectured at Columbia and NYU, facilitated countless media making workshops nationwide, is the recipient of two NEA production grants, a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship. Radtke also co-wrote AIME TON PERE, produced by Gerard Depardieu and starring Depardieu and his late son, Guillame. The film was the official Swiss entry for Best Foreign Film consideration for the 2001 Academy Awards®. Radtke's third feature THE SPEED OF LIFE premiered at the 2007 Venice Film Festival where it received a special jury prize.
