RTF 395 - Theory and Literature: Historical, Critical and Cultural Approaches

PREREQUISITES: Consent of instructor, graduate standing, and consent of grad advisor. This seminar is the second part of a two-semester requirement for all students pursuing the PhD degree in RTF. All enrolling students must have completed the first semester of RTF 395 during the Fall semester.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This semester of Theory and Literature focuses on critical and cultural media studies.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS: Attendance of and active participation in all seminar sessions are required. Attendance of all pro-seminar sessions is mandatory. Students will be required to write at least one medium-length paper, plus one longer final paper. No exams.
