Graduate Admissions

The deadline for Fall 2013 will be December 1, 2012.

The 2012 Admissions cycle is over.  Please note that we only admit students in the Fall.

Please do not include your social security number on any correspondence.  The EID issued by the University when you submit your application will serve as your identification number.

DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMS
Radio-Television-Film also offers dual degrees (master's only) in the following programs:

  • Radio-Television-Film & Russian, E. European and Eurasian Studies
  • Radio-Television-Film & Public Affairs
  • Radio-Television-Film & Middle Eastern Studies
  • Radio-Television-Film & Latin American Studies
  • Radio-Television-Film & Business Administration

Applicants must apply and be accepted to both programs. In most programs, students must complete the requirements for both programs.

NOTE: It can take 3 to 6 weeks after you take the GRE test for the scores to reach the schools you are applying to.

November 15

– Complete ApplyTexas application with or without your Statement of Purpose (you can upload that later); but WITH your Recommender information; SUBMIT and PAY.

 Send test scores to UT Austin (#6882)

November 25

— Upload all required documents using the "Application Status Page" link that you get after submitting the ApplyTexas application.  If MFA in Production---upload your portfolio anytime before December 1.

November 29

— Check status of your application from the Application Status Page.
