Current Research Interests
My research interests are located within the areas of Race and Media, Latino/a and Spanish Caribbean Studies. My dissertation explores the representation and self-representations of Puerto Rican soldiers in digital environments. I am particularly interested in the transition from the tradition of oral history to the practice of digital story telling among the soldiers.
