Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez Visits RTF Class, Apr 22

Austin, TX – April 22, 2008 – Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, best known for his films “El Mariachi,” “Desperado,” and “Sin City,” visited RTF professor Charles Ramirez Berg’s Latino Images in Film class on Wednesday, April 22. Rodriguez, an alumnus of the RTF department, spoke about his days as an RTF student, his film career, and his next film, which starts production at the beginning of May.

The event was co-sponsored by the Department of Radio-Television-Film, the Latino Media Studies Program of the College of Communication, The Center for Mexican American Studies, and the College of Communication.
