Mosaic Media Group Los Angeles Internship, Fall 2009

Developed by The Paul Pierre Standifer Foundation, this is an internship opportunity for RTF students at the Mosaic Media Group in Los Angeles, beginning in the Fall 2009 semester. All RTF students, especially those accepted to the UT Semester in Los Angeles Program, are encouraged to apply for the internship.

MOSAIC MEDIA GROUP’S intern program is a collaboration of Atlas Entertainment (feature film production and management), and Mosaic (talent/literary management and production). Mosaic has a first look deal with both SONY features and HBO television. Atlas Entertainment has a first look deal with SONY features and second look with Relativity Media. Mosaic Media Group has an impressive list of films including, 3 Kings, 12 Monkeys, Scooby Doo, Batman Begins, Get Smart, and The Dark Knight, as well as Kicking and Screaming, Talladega Nights, Semi-Pro, and Step Brothers. On the management side, clients include: Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Sacha Baron Cohen, Andy Samberg, Kristin Davis, Sarah Silverman, Judd Apatow, Jay Roach, Jason Statham, Jet Li and dozens more.

INTERN QUALIFICATIONS:
Eager, egoless, and enthusiastic. Smart, and able to handle one's self in a professional manner around high profile clients and executives. Must have an interest in either talent/literary management, and feature film/television development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Interns will assist in all divisions at Mosaic Media Group. Duties include everything from reading scripts and writing coverage, to helping assistants and executives on a day-to-day basis, including filling in for absent assistants on the phones. We encourage our interns to have one-on-one time with assistants in various departments, as well we schedule lunches throughout the term with executives where they have the chance to sit down together and ask questions. Interns must have their own car with insurance. The job also involves runs in which interns will be reimbursed for mileage as well as clerical work. Students will receive course credit for this unpaid internship.
