The Department of Radio-Television-Film is now accepting submissions for the 2008 Hollywood Showcase of student films. The guidelines for submissions are below.
ELEGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Filmmaker must be a current RTF student OR an RTF alum who graduated no earlier than the Fall 2007 semester
- Film must have been made as part of an undergraduate or graduate RTF production course
- Submitted film must be at least a FINE CUT; if selected, FINAL CUT due no later August 1
- Student must be available to attend the Hollywood Showcase in Los Angeles (9/25/2008)
- Student must have a production faculty member, preferably a past/current professor, sign the nomination form for consideration
NOMINATION PROCEDURES & SUBMISSION DEADLINES
Submit the following materials by NOON on Friday, JUNE 20 at the RTF Office (CMA 6.118):
* FILM (DVD format)
- DVD must contain at least the FINE CUT of film; if selected, FINAL CUT due no later August 1
- DVDs will not be returned but can be picked up at the RTF Office
- All film projects must have school/departmental recognition in the credits of film
* NOMINATION FORM (Student works will not be considered without an official nomination form)
SUBMIT the NOMINATION FORM and DVD copy of film in one manila envelope to Chris Margrave in the RTF Office (CMA 6.118).
SHOWCASE SELECTIONS ANNOUNCED BY JULY 25.
