Mike Andrick managers all content and design updates for the Radio-Television-Film Web site, coordinates summer camps, produces public relations materials for departmental events, writes and edits the bi-annual RTF magazine (Communiqué), and coordinates the annual student film screening in Hollywood, California.
A proud native of West Virginia, Mike attended Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and received a B.A. in print journalism in 2003. He worked as a reporter for the Daily Mail in Charleston, W.Va., and as a photographer for The Villages Daily Sun in central Florida. He then attended The University of Texas at Austin, where he received a M.A. in documentary photojournalism in 2007. After graduating, Mike took a position as an assistant professor at the Marshall University, where he taught advertising and print designing.
Beyond his role in RTF, Mike continues to work as a freelance photographer and designer. He spends his free time eating good food, listening to Guided By Voices, supporting the Manchester United Football Club, and participating in various athletic activities such as soccer, cycling and basketball.
