Susan Dirks administers the daily operations of the Department. She manages the budget, works with the faculty to plan the curriculum, handles personnel matters, coordinates many Department activities and projects, and supervises the office staff.
After 15 years in the Department, Susan has become an expert at herding cats. She uses skills perfected on the job with the three felines she has at home. She has recently taken up sky diving in her spare time to unwind.
