Course description
This class is designed to introduce the film/TV student to aspects of the directing process concentrating on the relationship between director and actor. We will also be looking at ways cinematic language impacts performance through mise-en-scene, cinematography, editing and sound design. Students will have the opportunity to learn by watching outside directors work on a given scene for which the class will be expected to come up with options for camera blocking and coverage.
