Prerequisites

Must be an RTF major with a UT GPA of at least a 2.25 and have upper-division standing. The following prerequisites: RTF 340, 366, OR 366K. Enroll in this section if your experience is in digital video.

Students must attend the first class day or make prior arrangements with the instructor.

Course description

This class introduces students to single-camera narrative field video production. Basic instruction will be provided on digital cameras and digital off-line editing. Individual exercises and group projects will be assigned throughout the session. As with every production class, students are expected to work many additional hours on production outside the actual class time.
