Prerequisites

Must be an RTF major with a UT GPA of at least 2.25 and have upper-division standing. The following coursework with a grade of at least C: RTF 340, 366, or 366K. Previous video experience.

This course does not require consent. Registration is open via TEX to all RTF majors.

First class day policy

Students must attend the first class day or make prior arrangements with the instructor.

Course description

The Master Class brings in accomplished artists and professionals for a series of intensive seminars based on life experience in a particular field.

Students are required to attend all seminars, research and write critical essays on assigned topics related to each seminar, and produce, direct and crew on components of a class project. Grades based on participation, critical writing and video production.
