Prerequisites

For RTF majors, the following coursework, with a grade of at least C in each course: RTF 305; 318 or 319; and 6 additional semester hours of lower-division coursework chosen from RTF 309, 314, 316, 317, and 318 OR 319 (whichever has not already been taken). For others, consent of instructor on the first class day.

This course does not require consent. Registration is open via TEX to all RTF majors.

First class day policy

Students must attend the first class day or be dropped from the class.

Course description

This class will focus on production design. The purpose of the class will be to achieve the look and feel of an actual production—part art design, part production.

John Blood is an adjunct faculty member in the School in Architecture. He is an award-winning teacher and has done professional production design work in major features.
