PREREQUISITES

Must be an RTF major with a UT GPA of at least a 2.25 and have upper-division standing. The following prerequisites: RTF 340, 366, OR 366K.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration is open via the online registration system to all RTF majors.

FIRST CLASS DAY POLICY

Students must attend the first class day or they will be dropped.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces the student to the fundamental concepts, theories and techniques of 16 mm filmmaking. Students get hands-on experience through the production of several non-sync short film exercises.

Please be aware of the equipment check-out and check-in times as you plan your schedule. Check-out times are MWF 9:30 a.m. and check in times are MWF 8:30 a.m.
