COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is a basic audio production course and one of two "gateway" courses to all other RTF advanced audio production courses. We will learn audio recording as a creative endeavor and as a craft. This course specifically addresses sound for picture and location recording. Students will be required to serve as crew on other student or professional crews in addition to developing projects of their own. There will be some limited editing on Pro Tools. This course is one of the prerequisites to the Sound Design and Pro Tools course (341C).
