PREREQUISITES

For RTF majors, the following coursework, with a grade of at least C in each course: RTF 305; 318 or 319; and 6 additional semester hours of lower-division coursework chosen from RTF 309, 314, 316, 317, and 318 OR 319 (whichever has not already been taken).

This course does not require consent. Registration is open via the online registration system to all RTF majors.

FIRST CLASS DAY POLICY

Students must attend the first TWO classes and be on time or they will be dropped.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will introduce the student to the art and mechanics of two-dimensional animation in film and in digital media. Weekly exercises will be required, with an emphasis on animation as personal expression
