PREREQUISITES

Must be an RTF major with a UT GPA of at least a 2.25 and have upper-division standing. May not be taken concurrently with RTF 340 or 366. The following prerequisites: RTF 340 or 366K Intro to Narrative.

FIRST CLASS DAY POLICY

Students must attend the first class day or make prior arrangements with the instructor.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Intended for serious narrative filmmakers only. From script to sound design, students spend the semester completing an advanced video production (3 - 10 minutes). Emphasis placed on storytelling, strong cinematic style, and production value. Students are not required to direct, but must participate in the key crew positions on various projects for full credit.
