COURSE DESCRIPTION

If you'd been registered in the Master Class last Spring, you would have (literally) had a ringside seat for a series of guest speakers ranging from Spike Lee to George Ratliff to Frederick Wiseman to Joe Dante. 2008 will see more of the same.

As a member of the Master Class, you will do extensive background research on several of the film industry guests and help John Pierson prepare for the interviews.

We also record these sessions and certain students produce and edit radio-friendly 30-minute versions for a semi-regular Sunday morning broadcast on KUT-FM. If you are have audio experience and are looking for radio credits, this is an ideal opportunity.
