Advanced course in undergraduate television production. The work is essentially a series of dramas photographed in "filmstyle" single camera mode, in both studio and field, and is virtually identical in technique to professional narrative filmmaking. This main objective notwithstanding, it is expected that the class may undertake special event, multiple camera location productions from time to time. This course is therefore extremely demanding of time and effort, and should only be undertaken by students with reliable basic skills, reasonably high confidence, and a clear intention of preparing for professional careers in television and film.
