Andrew Neylon is a filmmaker and long-distance hiker hailing from Chicago, IL. From hiking the nearly 2,300 mile Appalachian Trail in 2015 to handling production work for organizations like Comcast and PBS, they have seen many sides of American life. Previous films have explored wide-ranging topics from modern technology to gender expression, screening across the US from Los Angeles to Miami, and beyond.
Born completely color-blind and legally blind, Andrew is particularly interested in the act of disabled filmmaking and hopes to further this line of inquiry and expression while at UT Austin.
