Professional Links & Recent Works

Britton Perelman grew up in the middle of nowhere, Ohio, surrounded by cornfields, blinking fireflies, and vibrant country sunsets. Her passion for stories existed before she really knew how to describe it.

She double majored in Journalism and Media & Culture at Miami University, graduating cum laude in the spring of 2016 before promptly leaving the country. Camera in hand, she has traveled to over 35 different cities in 25 countries around the world, the stories about her experiences writing themselves in her mind all the way.

In 2017, Britton moved across the country to pursue a career in Hollywood. Her first writing job in LA was completely unpaid, done in exchange for a free MoviePass subscription. Since then, she has managed a travel writing website, worked at an award-winning movie trailer company, and spent the pandemic producing over 60 podcast episodes about good news. She is excited to spend two years honing her skill as a dramedy writer as an MFA Screenwriting student at UT.

When not writing, Britton is most likely belting along to Broadway musical soundtracks, carefully making miniature bookshelves, or napping with her dog, Indiana Jones.
