Originally from Corpus Christi Texas, Reilly graduated from the University of Texas in 2020 with a B.A. in Anthropology and has been working in publishing since. Her undergraduate thesis project was an overview of biographical graphic novels from the lens of auto-ethnography; she is hoping to combine her interest in the humanities with her passion for writing about and analyzing horror films. She is also interested in the history and reception of transgression in film, especially in the pre-digital era. Her hobbies include researching and writing, and she hopes to pursue both academic writing and screenwriting in the future. Her favorite filmmaker is David Cronenberg.
Areas of Interest: film history and criticism, horror and transgressive media, gender and sexuality in the horror genre.
