Sandhya Rao Hermon

Sandhya (she/hers) is excited to return to school to study the craft of screenwriting. While she loves writing prose, she is particularly passionate about storytelling through the medium of images and cinema. Her perspectives have been shaped by her South Indian roots, her immigrant experience, her diverse work experiences (in academia and local government serving vulnerable peoples), being a mom and lover of nature. Along with her husband, she is a proud mama to twin boys, a Great Pyrenees and two cats. When she is not juggling her beautiful responsibilities, she loves to hike, read, watch movies, veganize the cuisines she loves, and play Wordle.
