Media Industry Conversations

Media Industry Conversations

Industry professionals discuss today's evolving media landscape.

MIC offers students from UT Austin's Department of Radio-Television-Film (RTF) and the Moody College of Communication opportunities to engage with a wide range of industry professionals to discuss today's evolving media landscape. MIC guests, many of whom are prominent RTF and Moody College alumni, hail from Texas, Los Angeles, New York and beyond. Please keep an eye on this webpage and our Twitter feed (@RTFMIC) for updates about upcoming guests. New speakers to be announced soon!

During 2015-2016, MIC sessions were a component of the course Entertainment Industries: Careers and Contexts. This course, co-taught by media studies professor Alisa Perren and screenwriting professor Cindy McCreery, will again be offered in the fall of 2017.

MIC is generously supported by both RTF and the Moody College of Communication.
