Laura was raised in one of Texas's most conservative counties as the only child of an aging hippie. A graduate of Northwestern University, she went on to Produce and A.D. commercial and Indie films. These days, she fills her time writing and bar wenching. Laura writes dramas with a healthy dose of dark comedy, and complex female protagonists.
