MFA Production Student
Matthew holds a degree in film and theatre from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As a filmmaker and writer, his work incorporates horror, humor, adventure, and absurdism, which he utilizes to explore and interpret existential queries. His approach is shaped by his experiences with poverty, neurodiversity, and a deep connection to nature. These influences drive his commitment to challenging conventional perspectives and recontextualizing our understanding of the world. For Matthew, filmmaking is a means of making sense of complex realities, providing both a personal refuge and a platform for broader societal critique.
