Juan Carlos Gutierrez

Juan Gutierrez is a screenwriter from Texas. He earned his MFA in Writing and Producing for Television from Loyola Marymount University and a BS in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin. His TV pilot scripts have earned recognition in several contests. With his animation pilot, "Temoc in the Sky," he placed as a finalist in the 2024 ScreenCraft Animation and Family Competition. Beyond teaching, he has experience in TV drama writers’ rooms across Hulu and CBS.
