Fall 2023 End of Semester Screenings

December 7-10

Watch this semester's student work! Free and open to the public over four days (Thursday, December 7th–Sunday, December 10th), film screenings and demonstrations will take place at various venues, as noted below. The series will wrap up on Sunday with graduate student films, including MFA thesis films from Brynne McGregor, Veronica Maciel Acevedo, Hang Nguyen, Nicole Chi Amen, Em Shapiro, Nalbeat “Sonny” Kwon, Anya Swanson, and Jaime Wilken.

Graduate Thesis Films

Marking the culmination of their MFA program, new and recent graduates Brynne McGregor, Veronica Maciel Acevedo, Hang Nguyen, Nicole Chi Amen, Em Shapiro, Nalbeat Kwon, Anya Swanson, and Jaime Wilken will screen their thesis films for the public on Sunday night, December 10, at 6:45 pm at the Texas Union Theater (UNB 2.228).

Join us upstairs in the Santa Rita Room (UNB 3.502) immediately before the screenings at 5:30 pm for a light reception.

The event is free and open to the community.
