Sara originally hails from the mildly interesting New York City suburbs but has lived in various places across the country. She earned her B.A. in Media Arts from the University of Arizona and her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from New York University, and recently taught Writing and Film/TV courses at the University of Colorado Denver. For many years Sara freelanced on the producing track on projects that ranged from feature films, episodic television, NFL Films productions, to web series, industrials, and commercials. At RTF, she hopes to combine her industry and creative work with her academic interests in media industries, cultural studies, and history. This is her first time living in Texas and she and her dog are very hot, but happy to be here.
