It's spring and almost the end of the 2021–2022 academic year! We are very excited to present this semester's student work to the public. The free screenings and demonstrations will take place at various venues, as noted below. Notably this is the last year for the 22-year run of Professor Andrew Garrison's East Austin Stories documentary project. The Austin Chronicle covered the story.

RTF at SXSW 2022
The 2022 SXSW Film Festival is back in person this year. Because of the Covid-19 global pandemic, the last time the streets of Austin were filled with spring festival-goers was 2019, three years ago. Yet, during this challenging period, our students, alumni, and faculty have continued to make excellent films and critically analyze the media we consume.
